Fall at Walt Disney World means pumpkins, leaves, and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! We had the best time hanging out at Magic Kingdom for MNSSHP and wanted to share some highlights with you!
Entering early at 4pm, we were able to swing by the Firehouse in Town Square and pick up our special event card for Sorcerer’s of the Magic Kingdom. Minnie looks so cute on her broom!

Next, we scooted straight back to Storybook Circus where we got to meet Jack Skellington and Sally! Since Jack and Sally are only out during these parties, we had heard that lines for them were running 2+ hours on most party nights. Since we got in line early, we waited a mere 45 minutes. And we want to give props to Jack and Sally…not only were they wonderfully charming and interactive with us, but they never took a break during the whole time we waited to see them. They were amazing!

Next – Halloween Parade
The Boo To You Parade was just as magical as we had hoped! Tons of characters danced and sang their way down Main Street dressed in Halloween costumes. What a blast!! Some of our favorite parts? When the Haunted Mansion dancers pointed out Shawnee in her Tightrope Girl/Daisy de la Cruz costume, and when Jack Sparrow and Captain Hook were flirting with Susan in her Pirate Queen costume.
Also, the Hitchhiking Ghost performers were a-mazing!! At first we thought they were animatronic, but they were actually real cast members!! And let’s not forget the Grave Diggers. Their timing was impeccable as their shovels made sparks fly!

Watching the Sanderson Sisters in front of the castle in the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular was as though we saw the actresses from the movie were right there on stage! The show was filled with vibrant color, great music, and fabulous dancing — the perfect combo for an awesome stage show!
And to top off the night, the Happy HalloWishes fireworks show graced the sky with amazing lights. The music and fireworks were fantastically timed, and the surprise of a series of perimeter shots left us shrieking with ghoulish delight!
Overall, our time at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party was even better than we had expected, and we’re excited to go again next year!
